The interview went great
I think they want to hire me for the position
It's more money than what I'm making
I'd be my own manager
I'd have my own office
I'd be able to make my own schedule
It's a high demand 24/7 job

The problem?

Me... I don't think I'm taking the job.

Job Interview

Tomorrow at 8:00am I will be going on my interview for a new position. I'm not sure how I feel about it except for being nervous. I want it to be better than what I have but the location is inconvenient for me. It all depends what they put on the table for me I guess. Cross your fingers, toes, and whisper a little prayer for me that if nothing else that I don't have to suffer through a torturous interview. Thanks!

Chick’s Creations Coming Together

As you all know I’m working hard to get Chick’s Creations up and running. So far, I have a few things up my sleeve that I’m trying to develop. I’ve been networking and placing free advertisements online and had a wedding consultant contact me and asked me to partner up with her to be one of her vendors. I’m extremely excited over the idea of working with this person and her clients. I just hope we can work together and help each other out. We are talking on the phone next week to discuss the details.

Also, once I told My Prince about this he thought it was great and offered to build me a temporary website! He doesn’t know a lot about building websites but he figured if I could get a basic lay out for it that he’d host it for me and once I started making some more money that he’d have his co-worker build something better.

Plus, a girlfriend from college e-mailed me and told me that she was trying to start up her own dog/cat sitting business and asked if I knew anyone. I e-mailed her back and told her that I would pass out business cards/fliers for her if she’d pass some out for me in her area. She was thrilled over the idea and so am I!

My cousin also passed on the word about Chick’s Creations to her brother who is getting married in June 2007 and his bride to be asked to see some of my work. Instead of just sending crappy pictures (which is all I have right now) I asked her if she’d be willing to pay for a sample bouquet. She thought that was a wonderful idea so I’ll be sending that out to her next week.

On top of all of that I was talking to another friend of mine who told me about this website where they sell flowers, ribbons, craft stuff, etc. at a discount price where a lot of the big named craft stores in my area buy their supplies. I looked it up and got an account and am now getting the same stuff that I would from the stores at a discounted rate. From this same friend I got a few copies of order forms and packages to help me create my own materials for sales (which I’ve just completed).

Needless to say I’m very happy about Chick’s Creations name getting around. Hopefully I can make it into something really special.
